“Laura revealed a strong ability to build relationships with stakeholders from all sectors across the country, …and thrived in mentoring arts and heritage leaders across Canada in the art of partnership with the business sector. We know that her continued and future contributions to Canada’s cultural sector will be meaningful and significant.”
President and CEO, Business for the Arts
Laura has been an irreplaceable part of the Latvian Song Festival movement in Canada since 2006. An experienced culture manager in Canada, she has been invaluable in planning events and excels in anticipating problems and solving them promptly and efficiently. I dread to imagine how our events would have gone without her.
George Juris Kenins
Chair of the Board, Latvian Song Festival Association in Canada
“…a facilitator and entrepreneur of superb ability and expertise who brings her great passion, calm confidence and innate personal charm to all she undertakes.”
Robert Cooper, CM MMus DLitt

“Laura was a pleasure to work with as the project lead on a recent e-learning curriculum. Her knowledge and adept management skills helped keep a challenging project moving in a positive direction.”

The Adlers Agency
The Adlers Agency is my presenting organization for special projects, which include concerts, workshops, seminars, concert tours, commissioning and recording projects. Please check here for updates on new and exciting projects being presented by The Adlers Agency. I invite you to visit the gallery for images of some of my past collaborations and projects. Please note that I am not formally representing any individual artists or arts organizations at this time, but a full list of past clients can be found here.
In August 2014, I will begin studies in the Master of Management in International Arts Management program, a unique new program presented jointly by Southern Methodist University in Dallas, HEC Montréal and SDA Bocconi School of Management in Milan. I will be blogging here on a regular basis about my studies and the program, so please check in regularly!
Behind the Scenes
I have always been more interested in working behind the scenes with artists to help them with the business of the arts than being the artist on stage, as fascinating as the artist’s life and work has always been to me. This blog is dedicated to my colleagues, the culture managers, graphic designers, stylists, photographers, etc, who work closely with artists and arts organizations to make their exhibits, dance, theatre, opera, concert productions a great success from an organizational, marketing, financial and business perspective. I look forward to sharing with you both the profiles of some of my colleagues, and also the challenges and opportunities facing culture managers today.
