Laura has been an irreplaceable part of the Latvian Song Festival movement in Canada since 2006. An experienced culture manager in Canada, she has been invaluable in planning events and excels in anticipating problems and solving them promptly and efficiently. I dread to imagine how our events would have gone without her.

Behind the Scenes
From a very young age, Laura has always been more interested in working behind the scenes with artists to help them with the business of the arts than being the artist on stage, as fascinating as the artist’s life and work has always been to her. This blog is dedicated to her colleagues, the culture managers, graphic designers, stylists, photographers, etc, who work closely with artists and arts organizations to make their exhibits, dance, theatre, opera, concert productions a great success from an organizational, marketing, financial and business perspective. This blog will be dedicated to the profiles of some of Laura’s colleagues in culture management, and also the challenges and opportunities facing culture managers today. Coming soon!
