Our University of Guelph undergraduate music students were enthused and motivated by Laura Adlers’ presentation. The material was relevant, timely, and presented in a concise and compelling way, in order to guide young artists in preparing to market themselves as performers, conductors, or composers. Ms. Adlers took a genuine interest in each participant, demonstrating the integrity that she emphasized as requisite to their own success. We musicians need this kind of practical, well-researched advice from an experienced culture manager. We intend to invite her back!

Laura Adlers has been an irreplaceable part of the Latvian Song Festival movement in Canada since 2006. An experienced culture manager in Canada, she has been invaluable in planning events and excels in anticipating problems and solving them promptly and efficiently. A highly capable creative and strategic planner, she is also spectacular in hands-on on-site management. I dread to imagine how our events would have gone without Laura.

Laura Adlers was very dedicated to working with me and the choir, devoting many hours a week to BALSIS while working in a very demanding management position in Canada. She is a producer and culture manager of great integrity and professionalism who has a solid understanding of the international choral world. Laura Adlers is deeply dedicated to the promotion and management of both Canadian and international choirs and understands the importance of connecting international choral communities. Laura was a pleasure to work with as the project lead on a recent e-learning curriculum. Her knowledge and adept management skills helped keep a challenging project moving in a positive direction.

Laura Adlers is well-regarded for her expertise in artist management and promotion. She has been involved in the choral music scene in Canada and has also worked with Latvian Youth Choir BALSIS and conductor Ints Teterovskis for many years. It was through Laura and Ints that I was commissioned to write Missa Liberationis for BALSIS and was able to travel to Riga for the world première in 2011. This proved to be a very fruitful endeavour, as I was able to meet with several Latvian composers. In addition, Missa Liberationis and the rest of my music is now published by Musica Baltica / Edition Peters. Through Laura’s strong ability to foster communication and her connections with Latvian artists, I was recently able to meet with Latvian composer Peteris Vasks in Halifax. It is always a pleasure to work with Laura and I would highly recommend her to any cultural organization.
